Victor J. Boschini, Jr.

Victor J. Boschini, Jr. was named Texas Christian University’s 10th chancellor in 2003. He holds the rank of professor of education and teaches a course each academic year for the College of Education.

The chancellor came to TCU after serving as president of Illinois State university, where he had previously been vice president for student affairs and associate professor in the Department of Education Administration and Foundations. Prior to that he held administration and teaching positions at DePauw, Butler and Indiana Universities.

Chancellor Boschini currently serves as Chair of the Big 12 Conference. He sits on the boards of the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, the Van Cliburn Foundation, Moncrief Cancer Institute, Fulbright Scholar Advisory Board, and the University of Mount Union Board of Trustees, as well as the Advisory Committee of the Timothy J. Piazza Center for Fraternity and Sorority Research and Reform.

He holds honorary doctorates from Lincoln University and University of Mount Union, and was awarded the IIE Centennial Medal by the Institute of International Education.
